Great Stay with Excellent Service and Location Everything about our stay was wonderful. The booking process was easy, and communication was prompt—even across time zones. Selven and Melwa (apologies if the names are not spelled correctly) were incredibly helpful. We arrived late, and my mom, brother, and niece arrived around midnight, but Selven took the time to welcome us and clearly explain the rules of the property (KēSa). Since my mother uses a wheelchair, they thoughtfully accommodated us with a larger room. We booked three rooms in total, and all were clean, comfortable, and nicely maintained. The only minor issue was the lack of clear housekeeping hours. One day, we returned around 3 p.m. and found our room had not yet been cleaned. I asked four different staff members and received different answers from each. Eventually, the room was cleaned a couple of hours later, and although cleaning often occurred quite late, the staff always did an excellent job. Toiletries were available upon request. The location was another highlight—just a short walk to Chinatown, which we loved, and very close to Maxwell Food Center (with 100+ food stalls) and Maxwell MRT station. I went for a 4 a.m. walk due to jet lag and felt completely safe. The shared full kitchen was a major plus. It was immaculately clean and well-equipped with water, a microwave, stove, utensils, and plates. The living room, terrace, and bar-style seating were all very comfortable and inviting. Other guests were also polite and respectful, and the area remained peaceful with no disruptive noise at night—ideal for restful sleep even though it's in the heart of Chinatown. A special shout-out to the older cleaning lady who, despite limited English, was always eager to help—often without being asked. We also appreciated being able to store my mother’s wheelchair in the front office garage. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience. Clean facilities, great staff, and a perfect location.

KēSa House is more of a hotel than an accommodation place, as it appears to cater for both long- and short-term residency. It offers a private lounge for guests, and has a communal kitchen and launderette, making it a little different from traditional hotels. Despite arriving at the accommodation well in advance of the usual check-in, Seeham arranged for an immediate check-in. Having visited Singapore on a number of occasions, I have become quite used to budget-medium priced accommodation meaning small compact rooms, and this was no exception. Being small in size does not, however, necessarily mean not having all of what is available in more spacious hotel rooms. comfortable bed, which spread from one wall to the other, making getting into (or out of) bed a potential act of intimacy. The room also contained a fold away bench, enabling work to still be conducted, a small refrigerator, and plenty of storage areas to ensure tripping over luggage does not become a hazard. The bathroom is also very small, and if long legged (as I am), some side saddling may be required when using the toilet. Small shower, but excellent water pressure and temperature. Also provided, showing that they truly are a blessing to residents, is the provision of face cloths. Added to its quirkiness is a number of resident notifications placed around the room and throughout the building. All very relevant though. Bottomless water, tea and coffee are also a very wonderful asset, as is the ability to do laundry on site. Very well located for using public transport into the city centre (and beyond) for sightseeing and shopping. Also surrounded by a number of eateries of various ethnicities, which may engender some street noise up till around midnight, but guests are warned of this before making bookings, so the onus lies on them, not the accommodation providers, and it is a little unfair to use this as a subsequent complaint. Excellent complimentary (and secured) Wi-fi.

We are a family of 5 (inc 2 adult children). We shared 3 rooms between us - 304, 308, 316. We were upgraded to these deluxe rooms after booking superior rooms All rooms spotlessly clean and well designed. Bathroom a bit small in 308 but otherwise no complaints. 316 had huge Samsung TV at the end of the bed so perfect for viewing. Comfortable beds, powerful showers and very effective blackout screens on the skylights. Great public areas including well-stocked kitchen, mini launderette and terrace and very friendly service from every member of staff. Location is very close to Chinatown, but also 5 mins to Maxwell MRT and Hawkers Centre and less than 10mins to Chinatown MRT (15 mins to Marina Bay). For the price and location it really can't be beaten.

I enjoyed being walking distance to the metro or easily walking to Chinatown on foot. It was great to have the option of so many restaurants nearby too. There is a temple just down the street and I managed to witness their prayer one early morning while I was walking down the street. I loved they included glass bottles which we could refill with water in the kitchenette down the corridor. 7/11 is around the corner too for any snacks and drinks.

This is a great value for money hotel in Singapore. The room was excellent and the bed comfy. Note the bathroom is tiny. No problem for me but may be a bit tight for a 'large' person. The location is great being within a few minutes walk from Chinatown and the Maxwell Hawker centre so huge range of cheap dining options and very close to public transport for easy access to all of Singapore.
